The Superior Precision Bullet Seater grips the bullet at it's datum (where the bullet diameter is the same as the bore diameter) and is adjusted to control the distance between the case shoulder datum and the bullet datum. This gives you direct control over bullet jump. Because of this unique design bullet jump will not change if you change bullet shape and it won’t be affected by variation in the length of the case body. No other seater can do this.
You will need the Superior Precision Cartridge Gauge, Chamber Gauge, and a quality 6” caliper to set up the Superior Precision Bullet Seater properly.
The Superior Precision Bullet Seater is made of stainless steel and is designed for reloading presses that use a 7/8-14 thread. Cartridges larger than 338 Lapua may need a larger thread. It should also work well with an arbor press.
